Omnes Videntes is a semi-suspended ceramic sculpture made to communicate my experience of growing up in a strict religious environment, feeling trapped and constantly watched and judged by my peers, family, and God. 

The sculpture is intended to create a sense of this surveillance as a continual presence. I worked in an assembly-line manner. This was satisfying and productive, and I found peace in the process. Though installed in this space, the piece is not site specific. It draws on the audience’s feelings, making their emotional responses the topic of interest wherever it is installed.
